Sump Pump Storm Fail

A storm in Chenoa, Illinois damaged power lines causing a power outage and a sump pump failure for this central Illinois family. The water quickly made its way out of the utility room, into the downstairs bathroom and as shown above, the downstairs family room. SERVPRO of Bloomington/Pontiac sent one of our highly trained restoration crews to handle the unfortunate incident. Our technicians had to remove the water, tear out all of the basement carpet and dry out the area. In speedy fashion we had the basement dry and all was good again for these folks.
