This particular fire damage was caused by an old lamp that was placed way to close to window coverings. Firefighters were there for most of the evening. When the house fire was finally contained at this central Illinois residence, it was the wee hours of the morning. The good news is that the family was safe and no one was injured or suffered smoke inhalation during this event. SERVPRO of Bloomington/Pontiac responded without hesitation and boarded up the home.
